As a hot-flashing, covers-on-covers-off, toss-and-turn menopausal insomniac, I ordered this product out of desperation, but knowing that I would 'invoke' the satisfaction guarantee if it didn't provide me with relief. I added the pad to my bed, turned my thermostat to 69 degrees a couple of hours prior to bedtime and slid into bed - and slept through the entire night. I haven't had that build-up of heat under my body or that cycling of inner core temperature feeling from hot to cold since. Period. Now, as I ponder the traveling season upcoming, because I travel frequently for business and recreation, how can I pack it and take it with me? I'd be terrified the airline would lose it if I check it - and it is too critical to my sleep to hand off to the Black Hole of Airline Baggage. I wonder what kinds of glances and looks I'll get when I tote it onto the aircraft with me instead of my overnight bag. I can always find toiletries in the local drugstore, but not this sleep solution. If you are having a problem with your mattress heating up, this Mattress Pad really will help. I have spent many sleepless nights because of the heat of our "wonderful" Memory Foam Bed. The bed is hot in the winter and REALLY hot in the summer. Once I put this Pad on the bed we were able to sleep through the night. We now can use the covers. Keep in mind, I bought this in the winter.

This has made my husband's nights (and mine) more restful and dry! You can actually feel the coolness from this mattress pad, and it makes it so much more comfortable to sleep. We have this over a memory foam mattress pad since they get very hot. I love getting into bed and feeling that cool bed feeling.

I was desperate and willing to pay this incredibly high price for relief when sleeping. This does certainly help. Don't expect miracles! You will still need to put that thermostat down to at least 73-74F. However, I have found that there are less sleep interruptions due to being hot.
